Volunteer
The Hinton and District SPCA always needs volunteers. Volunteers are asked to fill out a volunteer form so that we can best match up your abilities with our needs. We also ask that volunteers sign in, this information is used for matching grant money and for Workmen’s Compensation coverage. Volunteers have to be 18 years of age or older. Younger volunteers need to be accompanied by an adult.
Dog walkers:
- Times 9:00-1:00 and 6:30-8:30 daily, drop in. No experience necessary, must be over 18 or with someone who is over 18.
- The dogs may not be taken off leash unless in a securely fenced area.
Cat cuddlers:
- Times 11:00-1:00 and 6:30-8:30 daily, drop in.
- No experience necessary, must be over 18 or with someone who is over 18.
Bottle sorters:
- Time flexible, training required.
